We want to make a differenceBridge of Hope wants to help foster children. There are around 4,000 children in the foster care system in Arkansas each year, and only about 1,200 foster homes available. Once a child's parents have lost their parental rights, meaning the child can no longer live with them, the child stays in the foster care system until they are 18 or until they are adopted. This often means the child will have to move from home to home, sometimes resulting in changing schools as well.
We want to help provide stability and security to these children. Our home is open to boys ages 8 - 18. They can live in our home until they graduate high school with no fear of moving or changing schools. Our hope is for the boys to feel loved and secure, to know they have someone that will take care of them and help them through their teenage years. |
Mission Statement:Bridge of Hope Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization. Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for children in the foster care system.
The ministry will provide house parents who will teach, encourage, and love these children as well as share the love of Jesus Christ. House parents will also provide the children with life lessons which will equip them to be productive and successful members of society.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
